MatSE students benefit from studying an interdisciplinary field that encompasses math, chemistry, physics, mechanics and electronics. During the junior and senior year, students can focus on one of five areas — biomaterials, ceramics, electronic materials, metals, or polymers — and gain specialized knowledge in their chosen career field.
